No, they're two slugs making more slugs to destroy all of my plants! What amazed me and grossed me out was this long white thing they both had hanging out of their bodies that was spiraled together. I had no idea this was part of the process!
I didn't squish them at all. Look at that face- it's adorable and it just goes to show you that slugs are sentient beings like all living things. The 'beauty is in the details'! Plus you can't squish them, they're like four inches long and 2 inches around. They're humongous
We have moved SO much in the past three years. We left Olympia WA to raise our identical twin daughters close to my mom. We made it two years in Southern CA and that was rough!! So, we were certain we were going to move back to Olympia and then life took a 180 as it always does. My husband has been itching to get back to the east coast since we met eleven years ago and now here we are! I swore I'd never live in Boston (that's why you shouldn't swear)!!
I am in a new role as a home maker and loving it!

I saw the "afterglow".

Is it a snail?

Did you squish them while they were in the act of coitus so that they could die happily (and prevent more slugs from appearing)?
That's totally sick by the way. Even if you didn't squish them.
